Here you can configure your e-chain system® individually. All entries and changes are taking over to the part list which is situated at the end of the page.

Series R608 - Tube, enclosed

R608 Series is suitable for the following types of applications:

Vertical: Hanging applications, standing applications
Horizontal: Unsupported applications ≤ 7 m, gliding applications ≤ 450 m
Circular movement: Rotating applications possible, may require machining (machining rework is always required from rotation angles of 180°)

When to use Series R608

If a quiet type is required
For very high speed and/or acceleration
For long travel applications
For high fill weights

When not to use Series R608

If large unsupported lengths are required for side-mounted uses
Series R8840
When an extremely low vibration e-chain®/e-tube is required

Option 1: Separators and spacers igus® separators should be fitted every 2nd chain link as standard! Note: Observe side clearance of min. 32 mm (e-tube) and min. 6 mm (e-chain®)!

Locking separator 6008 for e-chains® - with increased retention force for applications with very high humidity or extreme loads. The increased holding strength is produced by the asymmetric teeth locking into the crossbar. Please make sure of an even alignment

Option 2: Shelves When many cables with different diameters are used - e-chains® and e-tubes can be divided vertically and horizontally

Side plates 6002, middle plate 6003 and shelves 420.X allow flexible partitioning Shelves of various widths can be arranged in steps of 7mm on 15 levels

For a more divided solutionheight slot separators 6004 can be used. However, these cannot be integrated into existing shelving without removing the interior separation system

The open height slot separator 6005 which is open on one side, can be retrofitted without removing the existing interior separation system. For installing the open height slot separators, the top and bottom slots cannot be used for shelves

Guide troughs are used for applications where the upper run of the e-chain® glides on the lower run. When using the igus® guide trough made of steel, the following components are required. Guide trough without glide bars part no. 98.30, guide trough with glide bars part no. 98.31, assembly sets as butt connectors part no. 98.50. XX
.XX indicates the length of the C-profiles on which the guide trough will be mounted. The standard length of the trough parts and glide bars is 2m. The required length of guide trough is determined by the travel length.
