EAC - the testing standard for the Eurasian Economic Union

EAC (Eurasian Conformity) is a conformity mark used for the import, customs clearance, distribution, and commissioning of products in the Eurasian Customs and Economic Union (EAEU for short) in the association of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia. Without this mark, no import into the EAEU is possible.
EAC
The EAC certificate replaces the formerly valid GOST certificate and is similar to the CE marking used in Europe. The proof of compliance with fire protection regulations for Russia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus (previously covered by CTP) is now integrated into the EAC certificates. The EAC (Eurasian Conformity) testing standard is intended to ensure that components exported to Russia comply with officially defined safety standards – across all specialist disciplines. It was developed after Russia joined the World Trade Organisation (WTO) and came into force in 2012.

For our chainflex cables, this means the following:

Our products all go through the EAEU certification process and contain an approval certificate to that effect. All chainflex innovations are always subject to certification processes.
Over 1,200 chainflex cables that include EAC certification accelerate customs clearance so that you can export quickly and easily to the customs union destination country.

In this white paper, all the information is clearly presented and it gives you a good overview of the EAC test standard.
