chainflex® – welcome to the world!

Machines of all kinds are now used all over the world in a global economy. For this reason, we at igus have been paying attention to high standard-compliant manufacturing of our products for years.

This means that for our chainflex cables, we have a special focus on fulfilling all directives and approval regulations of the most important worldwide standards. So, you will find the right cable for almost any requirement, worldwide: chainflex - welcome to the world!
Even if there is no clear answer to the question of what the most important approval is, a few specific, mainly geographical, characteristics must be taken into account when making any purchase decision. In Europe, only machines with a valid CE mark are allowed to be placed on the market. The fulfilment of UL guidelines or compliance with EAC/CTP plays an important role for worldwide export.

It enables us to offer concrete solutions for a wide range of industries, as many of our customers have additional guidelines. In the semiconductor industry, these guidelines are IPA cleanroom approvals or DNV sea certifications. DESINA requirements also often play an important role. You can find the right answer to all these worldwide challenges here: chainflex - at home anywhere in the world!
